I have released v1.5.0 of my screenshot tool, EasyScreenshot.NET.
The download is here and the full changelog is here.
Changes of note:
- New options dialog.
- Now you can recapture the last selected area again without redrawing a rectangle or reselecting a window.
- New hotkey system with all “instant-capture” buttons.
- New overlay shows a window’s title and highlights the capture area. It also performs a slight bit better (CPU usage is still a bit high when moving the mouse around when capturing a window, unfortunately).
- New capture option that can capture windows being overlayed by other windows. However it will probably only work best with programs using normal controls; custom controls have to “opt-in” to support the API (WM_PRINTCLIENT message) otherwise it won’t render properly. Even the desktop (essencially a custom-painted listview) doesn’t render the wallpaper or background color. Because of these limitations this option is off by default.
