Well everyone seems to be doing this so I guess it’s my turn.
This is from an SSH shell into this webserver. I’m not booted into Linux on my desktop machine at the moment so this will have to do.

Well I should probably start blogging again. I’ve gotten the ScribeFire extension for Firefox which seems to be better than the last time I used it, although I lacks a “more” insert which of course allows me to put a “More…” link there which links to the individual post page with the complete post. I think I didn’t like that before, but having a browser-based interface would make me more likely to post.

I won’t make a full post about my Dark Forces Frontend, since I already made a great one here. Background information and download links and everything. I’ve gravitated to using DOSBox with Dark Forces, and now my latest creation aims to package lots of mods easily accessable. Best of all it’s portable (well, thanks to DOSBox, the frontend itself is decidedly unportable on it’s own. :() [Read more →]

I found this neat game called Guardian of Paradise. It’s obviously Zelda-influenced, although it has some very nice new ideas mixed into it. There is no main overworld though, and the idea of dungeons is a bit blurred; basically, every place you go is a new level. [Read more →]
